The upcoming weather pattern gives us a good indication of what to expect for Labor Day weekend. The forecast is favorable, but there are some important weather conditions to note.
The first and most important thought on this weekend’s weather right now is it should be a dry weekend.
We have a cold front moving south across Lower Michigan Thursday. The cold front should have a several hour batch of rain showers with it, wherever you are in Michigan. The rain will be done over southeast Michigan sometime Thursday evening, leaving almost all of Michigan dry from Friday through Labor Day.
The exception on rain for the weekend, if you consider Friday part of the weekend, will be some lake-effect rain showers in the Thumb.
