Daisy West contemplated playing soccer at the United States Military Academy at West Point as a senior at James I. O’Neill High School.

Of course, she did.

West’s family has a deep connection to the Academy. She is the 10 th person in her family to attend West Point: Both of her parents and two of her siblings are USMA graduates.

However, Daisy West broke tradition last year to play at William and Mary in Virginia last season. It took one year for West to realize she wanted to come back home and play for the Black Knights.
