BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - A Berkeley County man faces multiple charges after deputies say he led deputies on a chase that ended in a deadly crash.

Eric Gerard Parrilla, 35, faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, two counts of felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and resisting arrest from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office; a charge of failure to stop for blue lights and sirens resulting in death, failure to stop for blue lights and sirens with great bodily injury, felony DUI with great bodily injury and felony DUI resulting in death from the South Carolina Highway Patrol; and third-degree assault and battery from the Moncks Corner Police Department.
