LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- City leaders announced the arrest of 10 members of a major burglary crew tied to at least 92 burglaries in the city of Los Angeles.

Mayor Karen Bass, Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell and District Attorney Nathan Hochman made the announcement at a press conference on Monday morning.

"Today, Angelenos can be proud of the extraordinary work of the LAPD and our regional partners," Bass said. "This crew, which had victimized families and businesses, is no longer a threat to our neighborhoods."

According to McDonnell, law enforcement agencies across the region served multiple simultaneous search warrants around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at eight residences across L.A., Hawthorne, Inglewood and Carson -- targeting the prolific so-called "Rich Rollin'" burglary
