STANLEY, Ky. (WFIE) - Work is underway to replace a bridge on Highway 60 in Daviess County.

Crews are working on the bridge over Katie Meadow Slough, located just southeast of Stanley.

Officials say an inspection found the support was deteriorating for the bridge that was built back in 1950.

Delays are expected to last through the end of the year.

One side will be replaced at a time, so one lane of traffic can still get through.
