OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - We are learning more about plans for the former Towne Square Mall on South Frederica Street in Owensboro.

City leaders say TS Entertainment LLC is partnering with Malibu Jack’s, an indoor entertainment destination, to transform a portion of the former mall.

They say this multi-million, 109,000-square-foot project will turn the vacant retail space into a multi-concept entertainment hub.

Leaders say the construction and renovation will begin immediately.

They say Malibu Jack’s will be one of the largest all-indoor theme parks in the region and the third largest of all Malibu Jack’s.

There will be go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, arcade games, and food.
