ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (WNDU) - A senior service center in St. Joseph Michigan celebrated its 50th anniversary Monday.

The “St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center” first opened its doors to the public in 1975.

It comes with various facilities like a fitness room, outdoor fitness facility, and computer lab.

The executive director of this center expressed gratitude to its volunteers.

“We’re blessed with our volunteers here. There’s no way we could run it without our volunteers. They’re truly the soul and heart of our organization,” said Cindi McLaughlin the executive director for the St. Joseph- Lincoln Senior Service Center.

Frank Alsup a volunteer for St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center said that he recommends it for anybody in need of companionship.
