UPHAM, N.D. — A 19-year-old Bottineau man died over the weekend when his pickup crashed into the back of a disabled semitruck in rural McHenry County in north-central North Dakota.
A release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before midnight Saturday, Aug. 23, when a 2006 Freightliner semitruck was disabled on the westbound shoulder and partially in the roadway on 80th Street North, just east of the intersection with 17th Avenue North, 10 miles west of Upham and about 40 miles northeast of Minot.
