CINCINNATI —

Cincinnati police arrested six juveniles in connection with a string of car break-ins over the weekend, with at least one suspect as young as 12 years old.

Police didn’t specify which day the break-ins occurred, but said they happened during the weekend of Aug. 23-24. Advertisement

Investigators said the break-ins happened at two locations - the 300 block of McFarland Street and the 700 block of Sycamore Street.

Six juvenile suspects were taken into custody and charged with theft from auto, criminal damaging and violation of city curfew.

The suspects ranged in age from 12-17.

“We want to thank the community for staying alert and working with our officers to help keep our neighborhoods safe,” the Cincinnati Police Department said.
