DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- A second man wanted in connection with the murder of a Warren father has been arrested following a standoff in Dayton that lasted several hours.
Police ordered residents to shelter in place while they were on scene in the 3600 block of Delphos Avenue in Dayton on Monday.
Local police were joined by SWAT and the U.S. Marshals Service while attempting to serve a warrant for a wanted subject in the Dayton apartment complex. Police identified the man as 50-year-old John Armstrong.
Police say upon arrival, Armstrong fired several shots at officers and refused to come out of the residence, prompting a standoff that lasted more than four hours. During that time, he also reportedly fired several shots at police drones.
