The Montgomery Police Department is seeking a man in connection with a stabbing of a pregnant woman in the village on Saturday, according to a news release from the police department.
At around 8:30 a.m. Aug. 23, Montgomery police officers responded to the 2200 block of Jericho Road for a report of a stabbing, according to the news release. There, they found a pregnant woman suffering from multiple stab wounds, the release said.
The woman was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, where she and her unborn child are in critical but stable condition, according to the Montgomery police.
