CHESTERVILLE — It’s aging so well.

A North Dundas late-summer institution had its 92nd edition over the weekend, the Chesterville Fair welcoming several thousand visitors, with attractions for all ages and with a special focus on families, young adults and kids.

“We’ve had a good crowd again this year,” said Chesterville and District Agricultural Society president Ann Vanderlind, addressing the challenges of keeping a nearly century-old tradition fresh and attracting new supporters. “Every year we try to add several different features.”

It’s working, and even a longstanding tradition at the fair – the tractor pull – attracted a fairly large crowd of young attendees to the grandstand on Sunday.

New events for 2025 included a sheep-shearing demonstration, a Legoland
