WESTLAKE, Ohio -- September is the perfect time to unlock a world of possibilities right in your own back yard.

Westlake’s Porter Public Library (WPPL) is rolling out the red carpet for National Library Card Sign-Up Month , complete with raffle prizes and -- wait for it -- Snoopy-themed library cards that might just make you smile every time you check out a book.

The Snoopy Factor

If you are lucky enough to get a Snoopy-themed card, trust me, you will cherish it for years.

And if Snoopy isn’t your thing, no worries: Porter Public Library provides two other options -- a READ card and a custom WPPL design.

Through Sept. 30, anyone who signs up for a new library card, renews an existing one or replaces a lost card will automatically be entered into a raffle for prizes.
