LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - As expected the humidity was lower on our Monday, but temperatures still climbed well into the 90s.
Overnight we will see temperatures falling into the low 70s except near the coast where it will be warmer. Tuesday should look and feel similar to Monday with the humidity remaining below normal. However areas south of I-10 may see the humidity climbing on southerly winds. Those areas could see a few very isolated showers.
Rain chances will remain low through Thursday although a few showers will be possible.
By Friday the humidity will be back to normal levels and our rain chances climb back to the 40% range which is also normal for this time of year. We will continue to see scattered showers through the upcoming holiday weekend too.
