LINCOLN, N.D. (KFYR) - North Dakota will be getting its very first cat cafe, and not far from Bismarck.
Dakota Cat Cafe is nestled in a tiny corner of Lincoln. The location has been open for four months, but is still undergoing construction. It will take an estimated two more months to complete the cat lounge.
“Once that first month or so, we think we’re going to be completely booked out with the cat lounge. So, we’re very excited to see the kids come in. I think I’m excited to see the community have something more to do in the winter,” said Garhett Langer, co-owner of Dakota Cat Cafe.
The cat lounge will feature cats from nearby shelter Furry Friends Rockin Rescue. It will be free to customers, but the cafe encourages donations.
