SPARROWS POINT, MD — A Baltimore County man turned a simple trip for ice into a million-dollar win after purchasing a $20 All About Cash scratch-off ticket from a convenience store in Sparrows Point, according to Maryland Lottery officials.

The winning ticket was sold at Hob’s Carroll Motor Fuels, located at 7115 North Point Road. The man, who claimed the prize on Friday, matched the number 27 on his ticket and revealed a top prize of $1 million. He used a pocket knife to scratch the ticket — the same one he used previously on a $10,000-winning ticket.
