MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Keeping history alive in Madison, the Wisconsin Historical Society gives a tour of its archives facility that is preserving the past.
“We’re at the State Archives Preservation Facility,” Curator Alan Hanson said. “We hold a wide variety of collections, both in Wisconsin, but also around North America. “
Hanson shares the tales woven into our country’s history.
“It’s a great way to kind of inform what some of the struggles that earlier generations have gone through and how they kind of faced those challenges,” he said.
Every day he uncovers something new in this four-story building. Each floor oozes with history to learn.
