Clintonville, Wis. (WMTV) - The Clintonville Police Department arrested a man who was later identified as a Madison priest on Sunday, authorities reported on Monday.
According to the Clintonville Police Department, the 37-year-old allegedly made plans to travel to the City of Clintonville and meet with a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity.
At about 7:30 p.m., he was taken into custody in the city of Clintonville and was later taken to the Waupaca County Jail.
He was booked into the jail on charges of child enticement, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex and attempted second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Information has been forward to the Waupaca County District Attorney’s Office, and the District Attorney will soon make a decision on the charges.
