A Palatine man was arrested on several charges after allegedly crashing into a police vehicle while officers were conducting a traffic stop last week, authorities said.
James C. Argianas, 36, was charged with driving under the influence of - alcohol concentration in breath .08 or more, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, according to police.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday, two Palatine police officers were working a traffic stop on Lake Cook Road near Rand Road when a 2026 Cadillac Vistiq struck the rear of their vehicle, police said in a news release.
