Fanatics Sportsbook announced Monday it agreed to a multi-year licensing partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation in Missouri.

Fanatics Sportsbook will operate mobile sports betting under the Boyd’s gaming license. The agreement means Fanatics Sportsbook expects to be among the dozen-or-so mobile sportsbooks to begin taking wagers when Missouri sports betting launches Dec. 1.

Under the terms of Missouri Amendment 2, prospective sportsbooks have until Sept. 12 to develop partnerships with either a professional sports team or retail casino in order to be eligible to launch Dec. 1.

Boyd operates two casinos in the Show-Me State, the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City and the Ameristar Resort Casino Spa in St. Charles. Under the terms of the agreement, Boyd will rebrand its retail sportsbook
