QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- New video shows the moment NYPD officers opened fire on a carjacking suspect in Queens, accidentally striking one of their own.

Investigators say 28-year-old Kevin Dubuisson went on a one-man crime spree Friday, allegedly stealing a car and plowing into a woman and her 88-year-old mother as they returned home from a hair salon.

“I saw a big black car back into my car, sent to the sidewalk. My mother fell, and I fell next to her. Next thing I knew, I heard shots fired,” the woman said.

She said the crash left her mother badly injured.

“I saw her blood was trickling down the sidewalk and I screamed for help,” she said. “She has a hematoma, fractured wrist, and now she’s not doing good.”

She's still hospitalized and marked her mother’s 88th birthday by her bedside
