HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) - Kennedy Catholic girls basketball state champion Bella Magestro has committed to Gannon University Women's Basketball to continue her athletic and academic careers.

The senior made the announcement on social media Sunday, Aug. 24.

The Golden Eagles star is a two-time PIAA state champion in 2023 and 2024. She also eclipsed 1,000 career points last season.

Gannon Women's Basketball is a Division II college program in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

The Golden Knights are back-to-back Atlantic Regional Champions in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Gannon starts the 2025 regular season at the Division II CCA Tip-Off Classic in Erie in November.
