CONCORD, N.H. (ABC22/FOX44) - According to a committee report released Monday, the court that granted bail to a man who allegedly killed his ex-wife at a restaurant in Berlin last month, had enough evidence to hold him without bail.

Michael Gleason Jr. is alleged to have shot Marisol Fuentes and then himself in a murder-suicide on July 6. At the time, he was out on bail following an April arrest on charges of aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping, and theft, with Fuentes as the alleged victim.

The report, issued by the state's Internal Review Committee, criticizes the decision to allow bail for Gleason Jr., citing findings about intimate partner violence (IPV).
