MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A police officer was taken to a hospital in non-critical condition after a two-car crash involving a squad car Monday night in the Medical District.

One male is detained, and police said a Taser was deployed. The fire department is checking on the person who was detained.

The crash happened at 8 p.m. at North Manassas and Jefferson Avenue, near Regional One.
