As the redevelopment of Harborplace progresses , Baltimore residents can look forward to more access to the water, walking spaces, connectivity to the city and vertical buildings that use the space better.

The $900 million redevelopment of Harborplace, expected to begin construction by fall 2026, aims to connect residents with the harbor by improving the promenade with greenspace and architecture focused on the water that Baltimore is known for.

The redevelopment was discussed Monday night during an open house event hosted at the Light Street Pavilion. The entire project is expected to be completed by 2031 by the earliest, according to Adam Genn with MCB Real Estate, owner of Harborplace since 2022.
