CAMPBELL Campbell City Schools announced on Monday that its policy for serving meals would be changing for the 2025-2026 school year.
Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge.
This, according to the release, would eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price and paid student meals.
The CEP is listed on the National School Lunch Program website page on the U.S. Department of Agriculture website.
The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program.
The new policy aims to alleviate the burden for both families and school administrators, ensuring that students receive nutritious meals.
