The month of July was a record-setting month for Customs and Border Patrol, according to the agency. CBP says the border continues to be the most secure it's been in history.

This month, CBP released finalized operation statistics for July 2025.

"History made, again. The numbers don't lie — this is the most secure the border has ever been. President Donald J. Trump didn't just manage the crisis — he obliterated it," said Secretary Kristi Noem, in a statement to CBP.

CBP claims there were 24,628 total encounters nationwide in July. They say that's the lowest monthly total in CBP history for the second consecutive month.
