MADISON, Wis. --- Wisconsin Volleyball is no stranger to opening their season against some of the best competition in the country, and that doesn't change in 2025. They open their season on Friday, 8/29, against #14 Kansas at the Kohl Center, kicking off the 'Opening Spike Classic".

A few days later on Sunday, they'll play host to #5 Texas. It's all a part of Kelly Sheffield, and the Wisconsin Volleyball coaching staff's plan, learning about his team by playing the toughest opponents first.
