LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Las Vegas Metro police are investigating an incident involving a driver who crashed into multiple cars in the southwest valley.

According to LVMPD, around 8:15 p.m. a driver experienced a medical episode in the parking lot located on Rainbow Boulevard and Flamingo Road.

The medical issue caused the driver to speed and hit several parked cars with no one inside. The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Police say there are no road closures in effect but the incident remains under investigation.
