BULLHEAD CITY — Widely fluctuating releases from Davis Dam will have docks and moored watercraft rising and falling to varying degrees on a daily basis throughout the remainder August, and low flows until late afternoon continue to restrict recreational use of the river by boaters.
Access to launch ramps, docks and river shuttle operations will be the most affected during the lowest flow periods between 5 and 10 a.m., when only one of the dam’s four turbines will be operating, releasing flows of 4,600 cubic feet per second, according to the latest report from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. ×
