BULLHEAD CITY — Rain remains in the forecast for the Tri-state through Wednesday as monsoon season remains active in the Southwest.

Severe storms, though, aren't in the immediate forecast, although meteorologist Matt Woods, of the NWS Las Vegas Forecast Center, said storms packing potentially heavy rain and high winds could hit the area Tuesday or Wednesday. He emphasized the word "could" during Monday morning's briefing on ongoing storms moving from Arizona into California, Nevada and Utah. ×
