ARGYLE, N.Y. (WCAX) - New York authorities are looking into a dog boarding facility after 21 dogs were found dead on the property.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says the dogs were found on Sunday at Anastasia’s Acres boarding facility in Argyle.
Argyle is just above Saratoga near the southern Vermont border.
One other dog was taken to the vet for treatment.
Authorities say it’s not immediately clear what caused the deaths, and add that the owners have cooperated fully with their investigation.
A notice posted on the facility’s social media accounts said it would be closed until further notice.
