Sycamore Street, which runs right past Arcademie in Downtown Evansville, has been closed numerous times in the last four years.

After years of enduring near-constant construction on Sycamore Street – and other downtown roads, for that matter – Carl Arnheiter proposed a deal. It was to CRG Residential, the construction firm behind The Vault on Main: the forthcoming residential-and-retail complex that will eventually fill the chasm where the 420 Main skyscraper once stood.
If they reopen Sycamore within a week, Arnheiter’s bar, Arcademie , would cut the company a check for $2,500.
They could use it for whatever they want. Maybe they could distribute the money amongst the hard-working men and women who had been building The Vault amid weeks of bru
