Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin agreed to a three-year, $96 million extension Monday, his agents confirmed to ESPN.
It ends a long offseason stalemate as a “hold-in” for the five-time 1,000-yard receiver, who was due to make $22.8 million in the final season of his previous three-year extension signed in 2022.
Agents Buddy Baker and Anthony Bonagura confirmed the agreement, with ESPN also reporting that McLaurin receives a $30 million signing bonus.
McLaurin, who turns 30 next month, missed the start of training camp and was fined $50,000 per day and $200,000 in total. He already had been fined more than $100,000 for missing a mandatory June minicamp.
