Woonsocket footbridge closed due to safety concerns

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Woonsocket officials have closed the Kendrick Road footbridge due to public safety concerns.

The department of public works is now outlining significant repairs for the bridge to address the issues.

City officials say there’s no timeline yet for when the bridge will reopen.
