Open Thread Question of the Day: Will there be a surprise cut later today with the Bears?

The Chicago Bears are working towards setting their initial 53-man roster. We will know what 53 names will be a part of that roster later today.

This Bears’ roster is one of the deeper ones they’ve had in recent years, and when a roster is deeper, there’s opportunity for surprise cuts.

When you look at the roster, there are a few spots where this could be, and it also depends on who you would consider surprising at this point.

On defense, in the secondary or linebacking group, there are no surprise cut candidates.

Across the defensive line, could Andrew Billings be released? Zacch Pickens will almost certainly be released, but would he even be considered a surprise? I certainly don’t think so, and if Dominique Robi
