SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Saratoga Springs man is facing federal charges for allegedly having child sex abuse materials on his phone. Conner Buskey, 20, was arrested Friday and remanded to custody.

Buskey was arrested in March by the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office for allegedly having sexual contact with a female victim when she was younger than 13 years old. During the course of the investigation, deputies seized his phone, which allegedly revealed images and videos consistent with child sexual exploitation.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, the child sex abuse materials allegedly found on his phone led to federal charges.

He was charged with receipt and possession of child sex abuse materials.
