LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
One of the two Kentucky firefighters seriously injured in a crash while on duty Friday night has died.

Lt. Brian Hatt died 3:49 p.m. Monday at UofL Hospital, according to Michael Wright, who spoke on behalf of the Raywick Fire Department.
"Brian was surrounded by his wife, his family, his friends, his fire department family, and the loving staff of the University of Louisville Hospital," said Wright.
Hatt was taken to the hospital in critical condition Sunday morning after the fire tanker truck he was driving crashed in Marion County on the way to assist with a fire.
Around 5:17 p.m. Friday, Kentucky State Police said they responded to the fire truck crash on KY 527 (Saint Francis Raywick Road).
