The Browns were in need of more depth at offensive tackle. So they were willing to send the Los Angeles Rams a 2028 seventh-round pick in exchange for offensive lineman KT Leveston Jr.
A source confirmed for the Beacon Journal the Browns added the 25-year-old offensive tackle in a cutdown day trade. Cleveland opened the day with just three true tackles on the roster: Dawand Jones, Jack Conklin and Cornelius Lucas.
The 6-foot-4, 336-pound Leveston was listed as a guard on the Rams' roster, but played more than 140 snaps at left tackle this preseason. That included all 57 offensive snaps for Los Angeles in its preseason finale in Cleveland.
