The "haunted" Annabelle doll is set to arrive in the Midwest this fall -- just in time to kick off spooky season.
The doll, which inspired "The Conjuring" movie series, has been on a traveling tour with The New England Society for Psychic Research, which has taken her to supernatural and horror conventions across the country.
The group is scheduled to visit The Rock Island Roadhouse Esoteric Expo, with the chance for guests to " Come Meet Annabelle, " in October.
While there were questions over whether the tour would continue following the death of Annabelle's "handler," paranormal investigator Dan Rivera , officials have indicated the doll will in fact still travel to Illinois as part of its tour.
Rivera died suddenly last month at an event with the doll in Gettysburg, Pennsylvani
