Clintonville police arrested the Rev. Andrew J. Showers, 37, on Sunday on tentative charges including child enticement, police said.

The Diocese of Madison says it is cooperating with law enforcement and has fully restricted Showers from public ministry during the investigation.

Showers has served at several parishes and ministries across the diocese, including in Madison, Waunakee, Wisconsin Dells, Berlin, Green Lake and Clinton.
