TAOS — A Taos man arrested in a fatal shooting early Saturday in El Prado faces a count of first-degree murder and several other violent felonies.
State prosecutors in Taos County are seeking a court order for 26-year-old Jonah Ward to be held in jail until his trial in the death of 28-year-old Ramiro Quezada of Taos.
Along with murder, Ward faces charges of aggravated battery, assault with intent to commit a violent felony, shooting at or from a motor vehicle, two counts of child abuse, and assault and battery.
