TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Crews with Union Pacific are working to move a train blocking traffic in Benson.

The train has been blocking the railroad crossing at Benson Airport Road and 4th Street since 7 p.m. Monday night.

Union Pacific released a statement to 13 News saying: “A train in Benson, Arizona, is experiencing mechanical issues. We have crews en route and anticipate the crossing to be open this morning. We apologize for the disruption. Our goal is to keep trains moving safely and efficiently.”
