The college football season gets going in full swing this week.

And there are a number of Greater Lansing graduates who will be suiting up for Division I programs this fall. That includes a strong collection of players from East Lansing and DeWitt.

Here's a look at the area graduates in Division I programs.

Nakai Amachree, Bowling Green

▶ High school: Haslett

▶ What to know: The running back redshirted in 2024 in what was his debut season with the Falcons. He is coming off an ACL injury.

Andrel Anthony Jr., Duke

▶ High school: East Lansing

▶ What to know: Duke is the third school for the wide receiver, who began his career at Michigan and was most recently at Oklahoma. He spent two seasons at each program before joining Duke in the offseason as a grad transfer. He has 47 ca
