A woman was found dead on McConnell Road on Monday afternoon, the Greensboro Police Department said.

Officers found Meyling Mercedes Carrion-Ruiz, 35, about 1:36 p.m. in the 1500 block of McConnell Road, police said.

The cause of her death is being investigated, but police are treating it as a homicide, the 26 th of the year in the city.
