All Fox content may be removed from YouTube TV if the two sides cannot strike a new contract this week.

Google , YouTube TV's parent company, announced Monday, Aug. 25 that its contract with Fox is nearly expired, and if the two companies cannot create a new agreement by 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Aug. 27, Fox channels and saved content would become unavailable on YouTube TV.

"Fox is asking for payments that are far higher than what partners with comparable content offerings receive," Google wrote in a blog post . "Our priority is to reach a deal that reflects the value of their content and is fair for both sides without passing on additional costs to our subscribers."

But Fox claims otherwise.
