SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The administrative offices of the City of Savannah will be closed Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day.

The City is informing residents of the following changes to regular schedules for Monday: • Residential garbage collection and curbside recycling will not run. Collection services will resume Sept. 2 and will continue on a schedule delayed by one day. • Street sweeping operations will not run on Monday, but they will resume on the normal schedule starting Sept. 2. • The Dean Forest Landfill and Bacon Park Transfer Station hours will not be affected by the holiday. Opening hours will remain as normal.
