SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Global superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce announced the pair's engagement Tuesday on social media.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the couple said in their Instagram post.

The two recently appeared together on Travis and his brother Jason's podcast, "New Heights", eclipsing over 20 million views on YouTube. Swift also announced her new album on the podcast, titled "The Life of a Showgirl."

Swift's recent Eras Tour became the single-highest-grossing music tour of all time.

Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs kick off their 2025 NFL season on Friday, Sept. 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil.
