Tate McRae, Post Malone and Doja Cat have been confirmed as performers at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.

On Tuesday, producers unveiled another wave of performers for the 2025 show, with McRae, Malone, Doja, Jelly Roll, and Conan Gray all set to hit the stage.

They join previously revealed acts including Sabrina Carpenter, Ricky Martin, Busta Rhymes, J Balvin with DJ Snake, Sombr, Alex Warren, and Mariah Carey, who will also be honoured with the prestigious Video Vanguard Award at this year's ceremony.

For McRae, the evening will mark a career milestone as she makes her debut VMAs performance while competing for four awards, among them Best Pop Artist and Song of the Year for her track Sports Car.

Gray will also make his first VMAs main stage appearance, performing Vodka Cranberry from his recently released fourth studio album, Wishbone.

Post Malone, a veteran of the VMAs with 20 nominations to date, will return to the stage this year. He is nominated in the Best Collaboration category for Pour Me a Drink with Blake Shelton.

Doja Cat, who hosted the show in 2021 and performed a medley of her hits Attention, Paint the Town Red and Demons in 2023, will perform her latest single Jealous Type.

Meanwhile, Jelly Roll, who delivered a well-received performance at last year's awards, will also return, having received four nominations spanning Best Country, Best Hip-Hop and Best Alternative.

Hosted by LL Cool J, the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards will take place at the UBS Arena in New York on 7 September.
