There’s a new “Yellowstone” spinoff in the works, and a major star just joined the cast.

Oscar nominee Annette Bening will play Belulah Jackson, the cunning and charming head of a Texas ranch. She joins Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), and Finn Little (Carter), all of whom will reprise their “Yellowstone” roles in the new series.

The working title for the spinoff is “The Dutton Ranch.” The show will focus on Beth and Rip’s life on their 7,000-acre ranch with their adopted son, Carter.

Bening is known for films including “American Beauty,” “Being Julia,” “The Kids Are Alright,” and “Nyad.” She recently starred in the 2024 Peacock miniseries “Apples Never Fall.”
